NOTES: Fantastic and powerful performances from the whole cast. This is as nicely captured as can be expected from this show. There are several set pieces that obstruct the view of the action in certain places. There are about fourteen minutes of blackouts: most of the first 7 minutes of Act One, one and a half minutes of The Private and Intimate Life of the House, one minute of The Ball, three minutes of Balaga, one minute of The Abduction, and a couple other quick dropouts. It's filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.

But also included (at the end of the DVD) is a clip of Why Stay? shot in its entirety from 2 days prior to make up for that. Quick drop-outs for applause. Also, the angle where my seat was was weirdd, so there's slight tilt in the video. Audio fed from external source, so the audio is nice and clear.

NOTES: Starts at the beginning of ‘I Just Wanna’ and missing part of ‘Mattie’s Lament.’ The theatre was really full tonight so there are a good number of heads in this video, but they are worked around to the best of my ability. This is a super small theater (less than 160 seats) and at times the cast members  were definitely singing to the camera and honestly giving their best performances because of it. All of the things on the upper level (the bathroom, the pathway, and the kitchen) are captured perfectly, and the zooms on thee lower level (the living room and bench) look good as well. Obviously because this is a murder mystery kind of show the lighting can get a little bit dark, but my camera handles low lighting incredibly well. This is honestly the best video you could expect from this venue.
